Privacy & Data Notice

Last updated 2026-10-07

This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, why, and how long it's kept. Sasitha Anuranga Photography (Nugegoda, Colombo, Sri Lanka) operates this site and is the one you can contact about any of this.

What this site does not do

No cookies are set, and no visitor is tracked across sessions or across other websites.
No advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts (like Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) are loaded on this site.
Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.

What is collected, and why

Testimonials you submit

If you submit a testimonial through the form on this site, your name, the type of shoot, your written quote, and a star rating are stored so they can be reviewed before publishing. Once approved, your name, quote, and rating are shown publicly on the homepage. If you'd like a testimonial removed or edited after publishing, message on WhatsApp (below) and it will be taken down or corrected.

IP address, briefly, for spam prevention only

When you submit a testimonial, or when someone attempts to log into the admin panel, the connection's IP address is logged along with a timestamp - solely to detect and block spam or repeated unauthorized login attempts. These records are automatically deleted after 24 hours and are never used for any other purpose.

Anonymous button-click counts

Clicking a WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook link on this site records which button was clicked and when, so the business can see which parts of the page people use most. No IP address, name, or other identifying information is attached to these records. They're automatically deleted after 180 days.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard connection-level data (like IP address and request details) as part of operating its network and protecting the site from abuse. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy, not set independently by this business.

Leaving this site

Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook take you to those platforms, each governed by their own privacy policy. Nothing you do on those platforms is visible to or controlled by this website.

Your rights

You can ask what data is held about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time - message on WhatsApp and it will be handled directly.
